"I think we SAW, FELT and TASTED New Zealand the best way any traveler could be introduced to a host country!"
Jantina & Walter Tuthill, Top-2-Bottom, November 2003
“Overall the trip was EXCELLENT! It FAR exceeded our expectations! I really enjoyed the pace of the trip as well as the flexibility to do what ever you wanted, when you wanted - there were always so many options! I truly appreciated that I didn't have to make decisions about destination, length of stay, options for food etc. - I was so thankful that everything was planned and there was no stress involved in the experience and I could totally enjoy it and relax.
Richard, our guide, was phenomenal! Seriously couldn't have asked for anyone better. He was patient, organized, fun, knowledgeable about the land, people & animals, personable, hardworking, self-sacraficing and an excellent cook! More than I could have fathomed. I would do it again in a heartbeat and look forward to the next adventure with Serious Fun and Richard!”
Jessica Martin - Top-2-Bottom, December 2003

Day 3 & 4: Kaitaia - The Far North
Heading up to the northern most point of New Zealand! This area is steeped in Maori history and is a great place to try your hand at surfing, or even sand dune riding along 90 mile beach!

Explore the "City of Sails" for an afternoon. New Zealand's largest city was recently home to the America's Cup and still has a very vibrant atmosphere.
Day 6 & 7: Coromandel Peninsula
A rugged, densely forested peninsula where rivers force their way through gorges and pour down steep cliffs into the sea. Explore this area by foot, kayak or mountain bike. Even take a bath in your very own hole in the sand at hot water beach!
Day 8: Rotorua / Geo Thermal Features / Maori Culture
The geothermal capital of New Zealand, with bubbling mud pools, gurgling hot springs and gushing geysers. Also the Maori cultural capital of New Zealand, learn about their history and people.
