| Mount Tongariro Circuit |
Commonly regarded as one of the best day walks in New Zealand, the Tongariro Circuit is a big day out! It normally takes around 7 hours to complete, but is well worth the effort. Many scenes of Lord of the Rings were filmed here in this dramatic National Park. |

| Hangi - a Maori Feast! |
Ever eaten so much you can hardly walk – this is what you’ll get when you sample a traditional Maori feast in Rotorua. See, learn and taste food being prepared and cooked the ancient way as the night unfolds to a relaxed, informal, friendly and fun atmosphere of feasting and entertainment. All meats and vegetables are cooked in the tradition fashion, beneath the ground on hot rocks. Vegetarian meals are a specialty and are also catered for. Dinner is buffet style with the menu consisting of lamb, pumpkin, steamed pudding, chicken, potatoes, fresh fruit salad, fish kumara (sweet potato), custard and cream, shellfish, seasoning, caramel sauce, salad and Maori bread. |

| Day
Hikes |
Each
day we’ll hike around two to four miles on tracks we believe
to be the best in the North Island. Our guides have encyclopedic knowledge
of New Zealand’s natural history, vegetation and wildlife and
delight in sharing the many natural wonders of New Zealand with our
visitors. |

| Snorkeling |
Prefer
underwater activities to land based? Snorkeling is the next best thing
to deep sea diving. With New Zealand’s clear water and abundant
fish life, you too will be able to spot that Bluehead sucker, more
commonly referred to as Catostomus discobolus. While our Guides might
not know every single species, they can definitely show you how to
have a good time with a pair of flippers, a mask and snorkel. |
