DAY TRIPS - The following rides can be done as day trips out of Queenstown. |

Heli Bike - This day combines the thrill and excitement of a 12 minute Helicopter flight from Queenstown to the Old Woman range of mountains 1700m above sea level. From here there are several different trails, from single track water races, fast and furious 4x4 trails or a 4-5 hour cross country style ride, to the valley below. These trails will supply you with some of the best riding and most scenic views of any mountain biking in New Zealand. |

Picnic Ride - A leisurely day riding the Nevis valley nestled between the Remarkable and the Old Woman ranges. Dwarfed by the surrounding mountains you ride the valley floor beside the Nevis River, stopping to enjoy a picnic along the way, the trail is a formed gravel road with a few river crossings. A great family day out. |

The Combo Downhill - Drive to the top of the mountain and it is nearly all down hill from there. A total descent of nearly 1800m (5400 ft) makes this one of the biggest downhill rides you can experience. You will ride dual single track, no trails, sheep/single tracks. These rides usually take approximately 3.5 hours to complete, depending on which trail is chosen and rider ability. |

Sheep Track Riding - This is riding unique to New Zealand and adds a new dimension to mountain biking. Being only 4-6 inches wide with contours along the side of hills and over and around rocks, these trails can be technical and challenging but always fun. Go the Sheep!! No other mountain bike guiding company offers sheep track riding. This is a world first! |

Cross Country - The Central Otago region of New Zealand offers vast areas of remote wilderness mountain biking with fantastic views and varied trails. We have over 300km of trails. Ride through areas of historic significance from past gold mining times, high country sheep farms, vineyards, water races and more. |

Ride of the Rings - A three to five hour cross-country mountain bike ride with lots of sheep tracks. Set in and around one of the locations of The Lord of the Rings : The Two Towers -- the village and land of Rohan. |
