| The Perth River - Class 5 The ultimate whitewater in New Zealand! The Perth River is relatively unknown at present, because rafting is so new here. Rest assured that those fortunate enough to have ventured through the limestone gorges of this remarkable river, rate the Perth as an unbelievable experience. The alpine scenery is absolutely stunning, combined with lush green rainforest and aqua blue water. The rapids are world class and will thrill the most seasoned rafter. The Perth is a serious undertaking, so you must be physically fit and you must be able to swim to participate. |

| The Hokitika River - Class 4 You'll be paddling furiously on continuous technical class 4 rapids, as emerald green water careens your craft through narrow limestone canyons. This superb river has a definite primordial feeling to it. You'll be all smiles when you emerge from the canyons. You must be able to swim to participate. |

| The Whitcombe River - Class 5 The Whitcombe River is the most demanding class 5 river in New Zealand. If you are an active person with whitewater experience, the Whitcombe will challenge and excite you like few other rivers. You will feel like a pioneer too, as very few people have had the opportunity to run the Whitcombe in a raft. Like the other rivers we can offer, it is set in the amazing New Zealand alpine landscape. The Whitcombe is a serious undertaking, only guided by special request, for groups with white water experience. You must be able to swim to participate. |

The Wanganui River - Class 3-4 (2 Days, Helicopter Access, Camping Overnight) The Wanganui has moderate whitewater, making it the perfect family or beginners 2 day trip. Fun rapids offer enough excitement to entertain you on this wilderness adventure. With stunning scenery, it is the ideal choice for people seeking a relaxed overnight experience. We camp near a natural hot spring, so you'll be soaking in your personal "wilderness hot tub" with a glass of wine, while the guides prepare your dinner! A short float from camp carries you back to civilization. |

The Landsborough River - Class 3-4 (2 Days, Helicopter Access, Camping Overnight) The Landsborough Valley is incredibly beautiful. Mount Deacon with its impressive hanging glaciers provides a stunning back drop. The crystal clear waters of the Landsborough River contain superb class 3 and 4 rapids which will challenge you, while there's enough time to take in the amazing scenery that unfolds around each corner. There is one class 5 rapid called Hellfire which is usually portaged, although it can be run with experienced crews. This is a classic wilderness river journey! |

The Waiatoto River - Class 4 (2 Days, Helicopter Access, Camping Overnight) As you fly up the Waiatoto Valley, gaining a bird's eye view from the helicopter, you'll soon see that it is a very unique river. The water color is distinctive, cutting through a large glaciated valley. The view of Mt Aspiring is one of the most stunning views you'll ever see on any river trip! We have guided guests on the Waiatoto who have rafted all of the "classic" river trips on the planet between them. They all agree that the Waiatoto is now one of their favorite trips which encompasses everything a good river trip should be... incredible scenery and great whitewater rafting. The Waiatoto begins quietly, but don't get too relaxed. There is a full day of class 4 whitewater in there. At low flows, the rapid section is very technical. Good team work is needed to negotiate the multitude of rock... at higher flows the Waiatoto is a superb continuous class 5 white water run. After the last rapid, the river slows down completely, providing a tranquil float out to the road. We can arrange an alternative option to floating out - an exciting jet boat ride back to civilization! |

Rivers & Mountains - (8 Days, Helicopter Access, Camping & Lodge Accommodation) We have created an amazing eight day trip by combining the Landsborough and Waiatoto Rivers, that showcases New Zealand's most spectacular alpine river scenery. Beginning and ending in Queenstown, we spend two and a half days rafting on the Landsborough River. On Day 3 we bid farewell to the Landsborough Valley. Spending the night in lodge style accommodation, we enjoy the home comforts of a shower and comfortable bed, before flying into the Waiatoto River on day 4. For the following three and a half days, we raft and explore the remote Waiatoto Valley, before returning to Queenstown. |

The West Coast of the South Island has some of the finest whitewater on the planet and boasts the ultimate rafting in New Zealand. The rivers are very remote and only accessible by helicopter.
