I didn't want to be constantly on and off a bus
I was looking for a walking holiday where I would see New Zealand, but more so where I would see a lot of a little; rather than a little of a lot. I wanted to see, feel and smell the country. That is why I chose the Best of the South Island tour, it met all my requirements.

Mark made us feel as if we were the first group he had ever taken!
Our guide Mark was the best! He gave us the right amount of information rather than information overload. He could answer all our questions and was very professional. Mark really went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and was very passionate about his country! Overall he was brilliant.

The whole trip was a highlight in that it got better and better!!!
Overall the trip was excellent. The accommodations were all different, but excellent and fitted in with the locations. The Routeburn was probably my highlight, although the whole trip was a highlight as it just got better and better!

I really did choose the right company to travel with
Serious Fun lived up to my expectations and exceeded them tenfold. Mark was an excellent guide - the whole thing was perfect. I was sad to go home as it was a brilliant holiday.
