  Meals on the Best of the South Island tour will not disappoint! We sample the best local cuisine for dinner each night in local restaurants where you are able to order the local specialties from the menu.
For lunches, your guide will mostly prepare picnics so that you can enjoy lunch out in the wilderness where ever that day's adventures may take you!
Overall, the food on this trip is of a very high standard and is mostly enjoyed in restaurants. Weather permitting, you will have a Kiwi specialty in Punakaiki - a barbie on the beach (BBQ!)
